Can any body tell what is the std barcode that usualy company follows?
Hi,
In general barcodes can be identified in the character formats of script/smartform
for a specific barcode u have to define it explicitly in SE73 t code.but this is basis work.
the standard codes available are used to solve the generally occuring requirements.

There is no standard bar code that a company follows , the type of bar code that we need to use depends on the bar code reader that is being used to read the bar codes , these readers decide the length and width of the bar code that we need to use in the performa.

Hi,
There are no standard barcode as such...for a company....
Depending on the type of company the barcodes are made...
For pharma type one type, for oil industries one type. and so on....
u can go to t-code se73 and check types of barcodes available not according to industry standards, but according to width and height...
Cheers,
Simha.
