Call transaction ME55 issues

Hi Team,

I am trying to call transaction Me55 via submit report & Return from a standard transaction . But the output of ALV looks different and even the selection functionality to release is not working there.

And when the transaction ME55 is called the ALV looks different , anybody faced such issue before.

Don't you think it would be helpful to show the difference? You did not even explain what is different.

sorry for that...while executing the report from ME55 , the ALV looks like below and also all the functions on the toolbar is functioning .

When executing the report (through submit option)

and the toolbar buttons like select all is not working.

I had not suggested this way yet, I had suggested to create a selection variant as explained in OSS note 2119100 and then execute the program with this variant.

i have check the note and it is not related to my issue.

my concern is only with the output layout in both submit report and call transaction though it is passed with same scope of list 'A'. And the main concern with submit report is the Tool bar buttons are not working.

Variant one is standard and other is related to variant real estate management.

Can it be that you have no access to the SAP notes? I always have this impression when people do not react on those suggestions and beat about the bush.

Scope list i am passing is same in both the cases . still i am having this issues.

you can replicate this issue by copy the program name of ME55.. and execute from SE38 and the buttons in the toolbar is not working.

no I can't, I tried already executing SE38 with RM06BF00 and get the same screen as executing the transaction ME55 directly

I tried all different scopes and non of them is equal to your screen

Did you checked the ALV catalog after the execution from selection screen? is it the same for you in both the cases?

Actually it is not ALV , the scope of list i am using is 'A'.

but still it is different in call transaction and submit report.

It looks like you get a different scope of list. What values do you actually submit in your transaction call?

Eventually the OSS note 2119100 - ME55:User variant with defaulting scope of list not default when execute transaction

and its PDF attachment can give you an idea how the scope of list is taken
