DS 1.6 Info Chart Vs Standard Chart Issue

Hello All,

I've a requirement where i'm displaying a dimension (race) in %100 column stacked chart.

It is working great with InfoChart, however its not the same with standard chart. PFA side-by-side comparision.

What are my options?

One solution is i can use Infochart, but the challenge is infochart uses color-pallet. let me give you example.

Color1 -red - Race1

Color2 - green - Race2

Color3 - yellow - Race3

Now, lets say user drill on some dimension(year, division, type). The result order will not be the same order of data. I may get more or less below result.

Color1 - red - Race2

Color2- green - Race3

Hence i loose fixed color code.

Whereas with Standard chart color are bound to a category within the component and it stays in put.(PFA)

I'm stuck with below scenario:-

Infochart = Great for additional features like % but not consistent with color code pallet.

Note: I also noticed that info-charts have bug, you change some property like font-size 12px to 15px and then next change of property like legends - show, it will undo your previous step, that is font-size - 12px from 15px. or this could be something wrong with this service pack SP2.

StandardChart = Great for color code stability but not for 100% column stacked chart.

You advise is highly appreciated. thanks

Mohd - quick answer is to go with InfoChart; it will save you a step when (or if) you convert to Lumira 2.0 - see

thanks Tammy, i'll look forward to that.

Any guess that SAP will discontinue to support or offer standard chart?

I'll keep the thread open for another couple of days for others to pitch in their views as well :-)
