Hi SDN,
I have an infocube A) that was think to load only ONE year information. It has full load every day. Now, users needs to store TWO years, but it is spending a lot of time to load. I am thinking of copying previous year information in another identical infocube B) (copy of infocube A) to solve this problem.
1) Is there a way to use the SAME QUERYS of infocube A) also with infocube B)
or Should I also COPY querys to infocube B) to use with infocube B) ?
2) Could help me with querys if I create a multiprovider or a multicube that includes both infocube A) and infocube B) ? I have never worked with multiprovider or multicube.
Thanks.
Ana
option 2 would be the appropriate one if the reporting rek is to include both the years data. And you can copy the queries for Cube 1 to the multiprovider using RSZC provided the structures are same (which should be in ur case).

Hi Ana,
You can create the InfoCube as a copy of another infocube
and also copy the queries from one infocube to another infocube using the tcode RSZC.
Refer this link for more information about copy queries:

About Multi Providers:
A MultiProvider is a type of InfoProvider that combines data from a number of InfoProviders and makes it available for reporting purposes. The MultiProvider does not itself contain any data. Its data comes entirely from the InfoProviders on which it is based. These InfoProviders are connected to one another by a union operation.
InfoProviders and MultiProviders are the objects or views that are relevant for reporting.
