How to apply ESS fix?

Hi guys,

I am quite new to the SAP EP so this question might sound quite silly to you. We encountered a problem in ESS functionality in our client's EP6. So I went to OSS (SAP support site) and looked for a solution. Luckily I found it quite swiftly - 'Note 935396 - ESS Clock-In/Out Corrections: Error in date navigation'. But when I go to download manager and download the corresponding file 'NOTE_0000935396' it does not have any extension! I would expect the file having .sar so that I could unpack it a deploy it on server. What shall I do with the file with no extension then? How can I apply the changes included in the file?

Hi Frank,

I saw the note 935936. It asks yoou to apply an SP. There are no correction instructions or .sar file as you expect with a note. Please apply the SPs mentioned in that note.
