What is a material class?

Whats its use?

    Hi

    Material class can be used to classify material with same characterstic.

    001 class type can be used for material class in material master.

    If you take your previous post grade:

    material: Copper

    Class: Grade

    Characterstic: Grade 1, 2 and 3

    for same material you can classify with different characterstic value.

      Hi VS

      Create material with MM01 and select view Classification, then it will ask to chose class type. Chose 001 (Material class), then you need assign class over there. Assign class whatever you have created in CL02.

      Is it clear?
