S_RS* Auth Objects in BI 7.0

Hi,

Could any please let me know where I can find the auth objects S_RS* (e.g. S_RS_BITM, S_RS_BTMP) in 2004s BI 7.0.

Do I have to activate them or install the Business Content?

How can I assign those to my role or profile?

How can I see the activities associated with them?

You do not have to install S_RS* obejcts ,it comes as standard ;however you need to assign those and generate it using profile generator.

Its purely basis activity ,you may not even have the authorization to do that,dont you have Basis/Security in your team.

However since you asked it below is the process .

1)transaction - PFCG>Create Role>Authorizations>Display Authorization data>object class - RS(Business Warehouse)>Click and add the S_RS* objects based on the requirements>hit GENERATE button

Above you can add S_RS_BTMP to the object class RS as aforementioned steps

2)transaction SU01 -->enter user id >goto ROLEs>add the aforementioned role created and you are set to use the S_RS authorization objects

In order to display any S_RS* objects assigned and their activities same tcode- PFCG and in role type * and select any roles -->Authorizations tab -->display authorization data and there you would see all the obects assigned and its activities associated
