Can somebody tell me about "SAP-EXT-SID" in contrast to "BEx Consumer and Producer"?

Hello to all SAP experts,

Okie, We are running a BEx in Consumer and Producer scenario. As of this, our request are given to Consumer (Netweaver Portal), then the consumer against the provided parameters in the URL redirects the user to backend BW system i.e. Report.

In doing so a parameter in the URL is added SAP-EXT-SID which I suppose is Base64 encoded. But when I try to decoder it using a Base64 decoder it dose not work.

So my questions are:

How and why is this SAP-EXT-SID generated ?

Also what information are hidden in it ?

How can I decode this parameter ?

Is it something related to SAP's CL_HTTP_UTILITY ? If yes then can I use it to decode the string ?
