How to save a PDF file into some external drive?

Hi All,

I have a requirement in which I need to download a PDF file into an external network drive(like VSS).If it was a local drive,I could have used GUI_DOWNLOAD.But how to proceed about this..Can somebody help me out.

    Hi anjaly,

    1. If the other machine has a shared folder,

    2. then using gui_download, we can give the path as

    3.
    computername\folder\filename.

    4. U can try this in START--->RUN from the operating system to check the shared path.

    Let's see, were your problem is: try to split the task; make small test-report, were you read the file (with open dataset) and save this again on your PC with GUI_DOWNLOAD (in binary mode).

    If you can open this as PDF correctly, then the file handling should be correct so far.
