Error in CO-PA Data Extraction

i created a CO-PA data extractor using KEB0 & it works in the Development system.

Then i transported it to Production & when i try to extract data to BW it gives the following error....

"Syntax error in generated program" and "Errors in source system"

in the detail section the error says "Error occurred in the data selection"

Dear Christopher,

Check in RSA3 in your Source System if it is extracting the data , and if you are working with a Costing based COPA you have to specify the Mandatory fields for selections in Infopackage.

nope.... it gives the following error in rsa3

Syntax error in generated program

Message no. RD117

Diagnosis

A syntax error has occurred in the generated program for the CO-PA extractor:

MSGV1: "RSFHGEN2"

MSGV2: "No component exists with the name "ERLOS"."

MSGV3: " 12"

MSGV4: ""

Dear Christopher ,

Can you check the transports from Development to PRD in R/3 . there can be error in transport..Just retransport from Dev again.

i tried re-transporting... but the same issue still exists

The error is in the following program RSFHGEN2

"No component exists with the name "ERLOS"."

Hi,

The issue is with the field ERLOS just check whether that field is present in your datasource.It should not be there in the datasource.

i tried removing the field then it gave the same error with another field

Dear Chirtopher ,

Check whether the same fields are already present in R/3 Prd. you can check for the same in CE1XXXX , CE2XXXX,CE3XXXX,CE4XXXXX --- where XXXX represents your Operating Concern.

We are also facing the same issue in COPA extraction. How did you solve your issue? Please let us know the solution if you have any. Here are the error details...

Syntax error in generated program

Message no. RD117
