Delete Key Figure from Cube with Data

Folks,

I have a situation where i need to delete a Key Figure from the Cube.

The Cube alredy have more than an year of data. Key Figure also has data.

Now, i know that we have to delete data for the Cube.

Is there any way i can delete data, just for that KF?, i know thats pretty silly question, but i am trying to minimize the work.

If i have to delete entair data then i need to look at a plan where i need to copy that data into another Cube (Copy Cube) and then delete that data and then reload the data from the CopyCube back to the Original Cube with an Export Data Source.

Hope i am correct in the second case.

So please let me know if i can delete data for just that KF or not

and if not

Please also let me know if my sequence of steps on deleting data, deleting KF and reloding data are correct or not.
