Default Cost Center in OKB9 Not Recognized

We have a default cost center assignment in OKB9 for a cost element that is used to post the sale from a debit memo. This did work at one time but there is now a profitability segment on the transaction that is being recognized as the cost object, so it is ignoring the default CC from OKB9. We have tried to trace what changed in our system, but we can't find a reason for this.

We decided to implement note 105024 to create a substitution in OKC9, but when we do that and try to post the billing document we get the following error "KC051 Internal Error: Entry in COKA buffer not found" I would be interested in any suggestions someone may have.

Thank you

Kent

Hi,

For the error message in question you should implement note

2402651 - Error KC 051 during processing of mass data

Regards,

Eli

P.S. The fact that OKB9 value is ignored is fully normal, as the system recognizes a true cost object (segment) and, thus, doesn't need a setting for default anymore.
