Triggering LSO workflow

Hi All,

I have to trigger a workflow whenever there is a booking made in transaction LSO_PV00. I found that there is a standard business object lso_partic with standard event bookrequest.

I have developed a workflow with start event pointing to the above mentioned business object and event. Workflow gets triggered fine when i simulate the event through swue transaction but the same is not getting triggered when actual booking is made.

I have maintained entries in transaction swehr1 & swehr2 and also maintained workflow customizing entries for SAP LSO in spro.

Can anyone provide me a solution of triggering the workflow.

Hi Manikandan,

We are facing the same Issue. We are manually able to trigger the workflow but not able to trigger the Workflow automatically by Transaction LSO_PV00.

Can you please let us know how your issue was fixed.

Hi Selvam!

I am not sure how Mani fixed the issue however, there is a fundamental difference betwen Request for Participation and Booking a Participation. Request for Participtaion is triggered by the learner through Learning Portal if approval workflows are activated. I do not think it is possible to Request for Participation though R/3. The Booking a participation ensure that there is a confirmed booking for the participation.
