Can we move asset to some other CC ?

Hi Experts ,

Can we have flexibility of moving asset to other cost centre ?

Lets suppose we have purchased asset for Department 1 after some day we have decided to move it to department 2 , may be in lying in other company within org structure.

How can we achive such scenario ?

Hi Ashish,

You can perform any update on the organization assignment is to create a new row for organization change with appropriate start date, cost center and profit center. You can change the cost center in Master Data of Fixed Asset for the same company.

You cannot perform between two companies. For example if One Company has two SOB'S and other Company might have 3 SOB's and balance sheet amount cannot transferred to third set of books as we are Copying valuation level Copying valuation level.
