Hi all
I have been trying to show the Workset created by me as a tab in the EP Page. As we see "CONTENT ADMINISTRATION", "USER ADMINISTRATION" tabs in the EP page, I want my workset to be displayed as a tab so that I can directly access the workset, the page and the iviews.
Please let me know what settings have to be made to achieve this.
Thanks,
Vijay.
Hi,
As suggested, workset 'entry point' property should be made true for this but make sure role 'entry point' is set to false. This will show your workset in the first level tab and ur pages under the workset as the second level tabs.

Hi Vijay,
Please do the following:
(1) Share with everyone what the problem was and what the solution was.
(2) Assign points to those who helped; 5 different knoweldgeable developers spent time and effort to try to assist.
Thanks.
Daniel

Hi Vijay,
To see your workset as a tab in EP add your workset to a role and assign this role to the user. Make sure to make the entry point of workset as Yes. Now your workset will appear in the navigation.

Pooja.

Hi Pooja,
How do u say that giving role's entry point as yes will show workset on the first level? He wants the workset to be displayed in the first level like Content Administration, User Administration etc. So I think best is to set role's entry to false and workset's entry to true.

Hi Vijay,
Just to review, can you say exactly what you did to get to the current situation?
What objects did you create (roles, worksets, pages)?
What properties did you set on each?
What roels did you assign to what users/groups?
And can you describe exactly what you do get? Do you see nothing of your roles and worksets, or do you see the roles as the top level but you want the worksets as the top level?
It is a pretty basic task to create a role with a workset with a page, and assign it to a user.
Common mistakes: not assigning entry point to true, not assigning the role to the right user or group.

Hi Vijay,
just set your Entry Point property of your Workset to true.
