How to allow users to view webi reports after authenticating against database

We have a .net mvc web portal that authenticates against a database. We now are planning to have our users view web intelligence documents from within the portal using open document.

After going through resources i come to know that , secured session or token is required to view the reports using open document url. To get the token/session information user will need to logon to enterprise session using his username and password.

This need to have username password for one user at two different places would create a problem for us , when resetting the password and user management.

So, is there a way i can say to the web intelligence server that, User "user-name" has already been authenticated by another system, please allow him to view the reports regardless.

Is there a way i can also maintain users , report level access within BO itself but just the user is stored at different system.

Will it help by using the Windows Authentication , so that you can access the reports from Open Document portal.

We don't want to add users to corporate AD, so that can't be an option. Same is the reason, we had to, create user store in database.
