We have a number of COPA reports developed in KE30 (1,2,3,4,5,6) that have no security with regard to scope.
I now have a requirement to impose Sales Office security on these reports. Sales Office is already one of the selection criteria, and I could simply make this field a required field, but this would not truly enforce security, limiting a user to only seeing results for their own Sales Office.
What I'd like to do, since our Basis team puts the user's Sales Office in as a PID (VKB), is to create copies of the wide-open reports, and then in the new, secured versions make Sales Office a hidden selection field, and load the value (or values, since some users have multiple Sales Offices) as selection criteria. Then, the users would not have access to this selection field, and security is enforced.
I haven't had any luck finding out if this is even possible, let alone how to do it.
