Profit center valuation GLs are not getting updated- Transfer Pricing Using ML

Hi All,

I have configured Profit center valuation, but when I am transferring stock from one plant to another Profit Center GLs (Internal Revenue, Internal Cost & Change in inventory) are not getting updated. I have maintained following configuration:

1)Maintain Currency and Valuation Profile (8KEM)

2)Assign Valuation Profile to Controlling Area (8KEQ)

3)Change the valuation view in EC-PCA basic settings (0KE5)

4)Create Versions for Valuation Methods (OKEQ)

5)Define Conditions types, pricing procedures, and transfer price variants (8KEZ)

6)Define Price Dependencies (Condition Tables) (8KEA)

7)Define Access Sequences (8KED)

8)Define Account Determination for Internal Goods Movements (OKEK)

9)Define Account Determination for Production Variance (3KEL)

10)Define Account Determination for Valuation Account (8KEN)

Am i missing anything in cofiguration? is there any additional MM steps are required to use transfer price (TP) in cross profit center/intra plant transactions?

Dear Abdullah,

Did you activate currency and valuation profile for controlling area in 8kep. Kindly utilise check activation radio button to ensure customizing steps are correct. If ok, then execute it with activation in controlling area radio button to activate multiple valuation.

Hope you have configured additional currencies in OB22.

I have activated currency and valuation profile for controlling area in 8kep and have also define Group currency with group & profit center valuation in OB22. Still I am unable to resolve this issue.

Need your further suggestions to resolve this issue.

One thing I have forgot to mention is that I am configuring it on S4 and I have checked all currency settings in FINSC_LEDGER transation.

Dear Abdullah Tufail,

If the release is 1511, Transfer pricing functionality is not available. With the unleash of 1610, all business process supporting Transfer pricing are re- enabled in the system.

Dear Abdullah,

From my perspective, seems below are the check points

1. Delta versions for group and profit center valuation and its assignment to controlling area settings under version settings

2. We need to activate profit center scenario in New g/l rather than choosing one valuation view in 0KE5 (part of classic g/l). This is also an essential setting for profit center valuation.
