ic webclient

Hi there,

I have added a new field "search term" in the BSP page

BUPASearchB2B.htm.Now i want to populate the data in the second page Bupadetailb2b.htm according to the search term entered by the user.

For the already existing fields ,methods have already been defined like get_name,get_address......

So do i need to make a zclass or is there any alternative available....

Plz help...

I think you'd have to create your own version of CL_CRM_IC_BUPASEARCHB2B_IMPL and then redefine the EH_ONSEARCH method. This method does the actual searching. The results are then added to the contect area to be displayed on BuPaDetailB2B.htm.

    Good luck,

    John

      Hi Micha,

Can u please elaborate on how did u go abt using the new search field...

To repair the standard object CLASS CL_BUIL_HEADER (the method get_query_results), because you have to give your new search criteria to the FM that is used to search... (e.g. BUPA_TREX_SEARCH)...

Can u give more info on this.....
