My client ask for delivery date column in Contract creation ME31K
is there any possibility system provide a provision of the delivery date in contract creation screen ME31K
Second, we have activated HERS material number and also activated APML, but system is not showing manufacturer part number when we raise a contract like PO and PR
Please help

Thank you for your email. However, we use contract for import material and we order material with full quantity and send it to the vendor in print format. However, we prepare CRO on the basis of consignment as each consignment will clear by separate clearing company.
Therefore we need a delivery date in the contract. Secondly, please also explain that system not showing Manufacturer part number in the contract item detail.

Why would a contract need a delivery date? Usually a contract is for a huge quantity, against which you create several call offs during the validity period. A contract which is closed with a single call of if just double work and does not add any value, a PO is such contract by itself.

I can just repeat that you are using the wrong process, use a purchase order instead of a contract to import the material. A contract is not used for a single process. You cannot do a goods receipt with reference to a contract either.
If you want a delivery date in the contract then put it into the long text.
The MPN number is not shown in the contract if you have multiple MPN numbers, it is an old transaction design, see detailed info in OSS note 663302 - MPN missing in contracts, RFQ and Scheduling Agreements
