Error while displaying URL Iview in editor on SAP Portal

Hi All

We are facing an issue described below:

In SAP Enterprise Portal , when we try to open any URL IView under content management using URL IView editor to display its maintained URL, it gives an error "The webpage can not be found". This error comes only with URL IViews while other type of IViews open up properly.

Full error details- "This error (HTTP 400 Bad Request) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the web server, but the webpage could not be found because of a problem with the address." ( Attached is the error screenshot)

We are using SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.4.

Is this can be related to any missing configuration in regards to URL IView or connection settings which is causing this problem?

Any suggestions to resolve this?

Are you able to access the url directly, without the portal ?

Do you have any protocol mismatch ? That is mixed of Http/https. All the calls from the portal should be with same protocols.

Attach the trace excerpt recorded via log watch tool as per SAP Note ##1593107.
