Fixed asset "FA00001" not planned for quantity maintenance; remove the quantity

Dear experts,

I do the retirement with partial quantity for the asset and gets the following error. Pls help me sort out.

Fixed asset "FA00001" not planned for quantity maintenance; remove the quantity.

Note : I didn't make consider quantity while making ap invoice. is there any possibility to change/update quantity in Asset Master.

Thanks Jitin,

In my case, we did AP Invoice and payment six months before and now we want to do retirement.So cancellation is not possible, is there any workaround to update quantity in backend.

Hi,

Have you checked the following on the COPY of the database:

Cancelling the AP Invoice and re-creating the same with the 'Consider Quantity'.
