Internet Sales Shop Management application error

Former Member

Hi,

When I try to open the B2B scenario via Shop Management (Shop ID), I get an application error: <i>'An error occurred: An application error occurred'.</i>

I cannot approach the Shop Management details anymore

This problem occurs after having replicated (intitial replication) the Product Catalog via the Web Catalog Content Management Tool and not via CRM Online.

What can I do to recover from this problem?

When I create a new Shop ID with <name>2 with all the same settings as the original shop and refer to the same catalog as before, it does not work and I get an empty screen when logging in.

Do I have to delete the old ShopID first and rename the new one to the old name??

Hope someone can give some advice.

Kind Regards,

M.H. Jansen

Hi Jansen,

Sometimes it needs to restart the SAP J2EE(INQMY) service and IPC.

After initial replication did you check any error message on the screen?

Hi,

<b>@ Gunawan:</b>

I had already restarted the SAP J2EE service & IPC. This did not solve the problem. Also, the initial replication did not produce any errors.

Any other thoughts? Thanks!

<b>@ Debolina:</b>

Where exactly do I define these authorizations of the JCO user in XCM? Is it in Shopadmin XCM settings?

Also, when I try to log in via: <i>http://<localhost:port>/shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do?</i> and I select the shopID <name>2 (newly created ShopID), I do get the Shop Management details.

The only problem is that when I choose this ShopID when logging on to the Internet Sales webshop, I get an empty screen and nothing is loaded.

Any other thoughts?

Hi Jansen

You must have done the xcm settings in B2B admin. There you define a jco user. There you specify a user created in CRM online. Just check whether he has the necessary authorizations.

Then, the user through which you are logging in the B2B webshop also requires specific authorizations. Just check the Best Practices and work accordingly.

See if it helps.

Hi Debolina,

The JCO username is: WEBLOGIN. When I check it's authorizations, they haven't been changed since 10.11.2006. The week from 18 to 22 December 2006, I was still able to view the Shop Management details. So it should not be an authorization problem.

The same with my own user, with which I log onto the Shop Management tool.

Also, the webshop user has the necessary authorizations for logging into the shop.

Can it be that the ShopID is corrupt? The new ShopID (<name>2) that I have created, gives no errors, but is also not approachable by webshopusers (customers).

Hi Jansen,

One more thing you can check. In the XCM settings for IPC, you must have defined the scenario for 'crmordermaintain'. In CRM online, check the table 'COMM_IPC_PROP'. The entry for 'crmordermaintain' should be present there. If not, you have to maintain it.

Thanks and regards

Hi Debolina,

Thanks for your reaction.

What does this setting has to do with the error I get when accessing Shop Management? I do not see the relation. In Production this setting is also not present, but everything is working fine there.

The only thing I want to know is if it is possible that the ShopID is corrupt? The new ShopID (<name>2) that I have created, gives no errors, but is not approachable by webshopusers (customers).

Shop ID was corrupt. Created a new one. Deleted old one and renamed the new one to the old one.

Problem solved.

Hi Jansen

This error may also occur due to incorrect authorizations of the jco user which you define in the XCM settings. Just verify it according to the Best practices.

Thanks and Regards
