Access MS Excel from XI

Hey guys

is it possible to transfar data from MS excel to BW in the form of CSV,i know i will use File adapter with FCC on BW side but what adapter should i use to access data from MS Excel?

Ahmad,

It is not possible to read from excel with the help of file adapter. You have to develop an adapter module for this. Check this weblogs on how to read data from MS Excel:

Yes, you need to develop adapter module for this or custom adapter. Some other group in my company has developed something like that before but I havent looked at what they have done.
