CRM 5.0 - B2C - Internet sales - One time customer

A quick question.

Our company is looking to implement B2C webshop.

However - having hundreds of thousands of additional customer master records on R/3 doesn't seem to be a winning solution.

Has anyone got any tips on how to get CRM Consumer BP being setup as a 1 time customer on R/3

Be gentle with me - it's my first question.

Best

Hi Paul,

that sounds very interesting.

Could you tell some more details about the points you mentioned ?

I assume you use CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI to change the data but which method should be used and which fields have to be changed ?

Your help is appreciated....

Hi,

I have a similar requirement. I don't want to replicate CRM consumers master data in ECC and I'd like to use One TIme Consumer. Could you provide me with additional details on how you solvedd your problem?

Thanks and regards,

Hi Scott,

We exactly implemented the same way as you have asked, in one of my previous projects.

This scenario can be acheived as follows:

1. Create onetime customer for B2C shop consumers in R/3

2. You have to map the partner functions between CRM <> R/3, so that CRM consumer sold-to will get mapped to R/3 one-time account sold-to

3. You have to implement a BAdI to populate One Time Customer onto B2C Orders

Also you have to make sure that after the B2C order uploaded to R/3, the sold-to change (i.e. consumer to one-time customer) should not replicate back onto CRM

B2C order.

Also it is not possible to stop the consumer upload into R/3 after the consumer registers successfully in the webshop.
