HI Experts,
I have an requirement where customer is asking for a way in which the production planning needs to be stopped during client shutdown period ( E.g. : July and December month for 2 weeks).
How can i fulfill the requirement ?
One of the methods which i have read in one of the SCN threads are to define shutdown period in the factory calendar which will restrict the planning during the defined period and will provide the delivery date after this period.
Is there any alternate method to do so
Thanks in advance.

Usually we lock all users & stop background jobs, interfaces, etc during shut down period.
If requirement is to restrict only shop floor folks (& identifying all of them is not easy) then only configuration changes are advisable.
