Recalculation of the best before date

Hello All,

For one or another reason, it can happen that in the transacation BMBC we modify manually the Best Before Date (BBD) of a batch. When this batch is transfered to the another storage location, then Best Before Date is automatically recalculated according to the rules defined in the system. But we don't want it to happened :

Our Requirement is that, once the BBD is modified manually, then we don't want that the system recalculate it, at any time, for any reason.

Can anyone help and provide to fulfill this requirement.

Thank you,

Naresh

First, we have to make sure we are talking about the same thing. There is no standard BBD in standard SAP that I'm aware of. In batch management SAP has a SLED (Shelf-life expiration Date) and Next Inspection Date. But no BBD.

Now, maybe in your business you use the SLED as the BBD? But that's not standard SAP terminology.

It could also be possible the maybe you have one of the SAP "solutions" and a BBD has been added in. If so, please meniton the solution.

We just need to understand exactly what you are talking about. A screen shot might help BTW.
