Hi Design Studio Experts,
is there any possibility to sort the list of attributes of a dimension, which can be shown in ContextMenue -> Attributes, by Name instead by technical key?
I already tried to sort the Attributes in the BW-Infoobject on BW-backend-side. This has no effect on Design Studio Application.
Thanks for your help,
Nicole
Hi Bernhard,
were you able to solve this?

Hi Tammy,
I have also found this blog.
I think I need the ID CONTEXT_MENU_attributes.
But I still don't know how to use it:
- which css-class we need to Change
- how is the Syntax?
To test it in your sandbox: maybe you can try to sort your attributes descending.
We cannot find any usable help on this Topic, maybe you do
Thank you and kind regards,
Nicole

Hi Nicole - thank you for your screen shots - clearly I misunderstood.
Would you please look at Harald's blog about content menu customizing?
https://blogs.sap.com/2015/06/25/context-menu-customizing/
Martin also adds comments too.
I don't have as many attributes in my sandbox to try this myself; the ones I do have already are sorted alphabetically.

Hi Tammy,
thank you for answering, unfortunately with your Link does not describe the solution of my problem. The sorting possibilities, which are descripted in the link are for the sorting of the listed dimension Elements in the report and nor for the display of the ATTRIBUTES of the dimension in the ContextMenu.
For better understanding I insert a File with detailed description.

Hi Nicole - the SAP Help says this is available - see https://help.sap.com/viewer/c855e08c1a274d51ab4f0463dfdd9c40/1.6.4.0/en-US/447c1cd4aab447cabb0b94f89...
Could you share which version of Design Studio and which SP you are using? Maybe share screen shots of your steps?
