Parameter Passing from Sharepoint to SAP Design Studio

Hello Experts,

Currently we have a Sharepoint Site and in one of the tab of Sharepoint we have created analytical dashboard using SAP Design Studio and embedded it in Sharepoint Site using Open Doc URL. SAP Design studio is using SA BeX Queries for data source

Apparently we want to pass the selections made in Sharepoint (for e.g Project Nos / Name ) as parameter to SAP Design Studio. Hence want to know if it is feasible to pass parameter from Sharepoint application to SAP Design Studio (as parameter in Open doc).,

Yes, this is possible. Here are the summary steps you'll need to take:

1. Define URL parameters in the Design Studio application that correspond to the SharePoint selections

2. In SharePoint, compose the OpenDoc URL by appending the parameters and values;

3. Launch the OpenDoc URL from the appropriate SharePoint trigger;
