Infoobject check "Attribute Only"

Hello,

We have an infoobject defined as “attribute Only” in Master Data properties tab page “General”.
What are the impacts if we uncheck “Attribute only” flag in other SAP BW objects (infoobject, transfer rules, update rules, DSO, ...) where this infoobject is used?

Hi,

If you uncheck and activate the object again, from then you use these objects in Infocubes. And if these objects already part of DSO's those objects released to reporting.

If the Info object is used in transformation/DTP's, that object will be visible after you uncheck and activate.

Hi Fernando,

Checking this property had an impact at a time on the SID generation (SID were not always generated). When unchecking this property, you could then have some issues when these SID are needed (mainly at reporting level).

But this was noted on a 3.0 version. A lot of things may have changed since. If your master data SID table contains already all the needed SIDs, I'm not expected any impact.
