I was installing SAP Netweaver 2004 full ABAP edition trial on my laptop
Everything went on fine till about 43%. I could see MaxDB installed in Start -> Programs.
There are no error messages or log. The installation reached 43% and it says 'Configuring database - Going to admin mode...' and is waiting there for almost an hour.
I did follow all the installation steps though. (MS loopback adaptor etc). Is there anything I missed. Any ideas or help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
With the error at 43% it could be because of a too lnog password.
same happende to me.

Finally figured out. The thing works well with SDK 1.4.2_11. Installation was successful. It would have been easier if this was stated clearly in the installation guide.
