How can I compress a request which has been loaded into a cube as part of a process chain? Thanks
In the left hand side panel, you will have a chain symbol which says Process Types when you point your mouse on it. Click on it and under Data Target Administration, you will find the process Compression of Infocube. Drag and drop it into the process chain and link it to the data load such that the compression occurs upon sucessful completion of the load.

Hi Niten,
Further to what has been discussed. I would rather do the compression manually after validating the data in my cube. The reason being that you cannot delete a compressed request. So to be sure that I have loaded the correct data and all is fine I would validate the data then carry out the compression. However if you are very sure that the data is fine for each load then include the compression step in the process chain. The other option is to use the "compress requests that were loaded XXX days ago" in the compression process type variant.
Hope this helps.
Bye
Dinesh

just suplementing Sudheer's answer, make sure you compress it after you roll up aggregates if you have any.
