Hi All,
Has anybody worked on Developer workplace(NW04s). It has a separate J2EE engine. All webdynpro applications run on the J2EE engine of the Developer workplace. But where does it get deployed ??? Before using workplace I used to see the deployed content in the web dynpro content administrator. Any idea ???
Thanks,
Tom
Hi,
If you are using developer workplace and only creating local WD applications in NWDS, they will be deployed to the your local J2EE engine (which is part of developer workplace).
To see your current settings, go to Preferences in NWDS and SAP J2EE engine.
If you need to deploy to another J2EE engine you have two choices:
1. If using NWDI, setup a track, and develop in that. When activities are checkin they are automatically deployed to dev system, and once released they are queue for consolidation system
2. Under Preferences->SAP J2EE engine in NWDS change to "SAP J2EE engine is installed on remote host" and enter message server host and port (3900+SCS instance nr is default).
