change request no in Smartform and script

Hi,

How to find out the request no for the changes done in any smartform or SAP Script?

As, in case of reports, we can get request no from the versions maintained in Utilities-Versions menu, how to get request no in case of forms.

But, Utilities -- Versions is not available in transactions SMARTFORMS and SE71.

I don't think Versions are maintained for smart forms, definitely not as of 4.7.

Hi Gaurav,

U need to first genrate the Function Module for ur

form and this can be done by Pressing Generate(F8) from ur form and

then u vl find the Utilities->versions menu in the Function Builder.

you can do this way...

<b>goto SE10>display>select the present request>selct the FormnName.then in menu bar OBJECT>VERTION.</b> MAY BE U WILL GET

I do not know what is the current request for my SAP script form..

as i can determine request no from the utilities-versions of other object,, is there any way to find out the request number for my form.

Hi Vigneswaran,

After generating FM for smartform, if we traverse through path Utilities-Versions of Function builder, then we don't find any versions for smartform.

There should be some facility given by SAP to get the request number from the smartform/Script.

Hi u can goto SE16 and enter table name 'E071'.In that enter ur Smartform name in the field 'OBJ_NAME' and execute u'l get the request No.

In sap script follow the path in SE71 Transaction:

Go for "Utilities->Versions".

For Smartfroms Go to Smartforms transaction & execute it & go for

"Utilities->Versions->Version Managements".
