We have intermittent issues with customers running ie 7.0 and their ability to access our sales order entry which is built in the INTEGRATED ITS.
We fully realize that ie 7.0 was recently announced to be supported (see OSS NOTE 981710)
We are currently at SPS15 and there is reference that NW2004 requires SPS19 to be able to support ie 7.0.
Short of performing a 'mini-upgrade' (by applying the entire Support Package Stack - which implies kernel, GUI, ABAP, BASIS, etc. etc. patching) does anyone know if there is ability to carve out specific components and/or notes to apply to effectively and technically allow for ie 7.0 to be compatible with the INTEGRATED ITS?
The patching of our customer's PC with the auto-update distributed by Microsoft is out of our control --- but we'd like our customers to still be able to perform sales order entry.
