PGP Decryption Issue in SAP PI

I am decryption the file in Sender channel ,Keys are placed in the path /usr/sap/<SYSID>/* constant path , and i am using the ownPrivateKey , partnerPublicKey,pwdOwnPrivateKey as key are in std. path i am not using Keyrootpath, from SAP(AL11) we are trying to fetch the file to PI and decrypt and put the file back to same path to SAP (AL11) , I have ensured the key path ans the files present and the names i used all are correct , password is correct, I am not getting any error but file is not picked from source, I have tried opening this file in AL11 it said it is not the .TXT file . Then i created one text file in AL11 i tried to access thru PI that worked fine, it picked the file and placed in same folder, I have then again tried this problemetic file without PI only in PGP decryption it worked with same key i used . so i am not able say it is File error.

so what could i check again. there is no error also , but when i ping the channel in warning i see this .pgp doesnt exist as yellow mark, but that file is present but still PI could not recognize that file. if i change that to TXT file PI cut and paste again without issue.

should i ask the vendor whether this file used PI encrypted key ? or something like that ?

Hi Gayathri,

To use decryption and verification work, your file should be encrypted using the key pair.

Make sure the file you are picking is encrypted one.

I am trying to confirm with basis whehter the pwd is correct , whatelse should i check to make sure this error would not occur,

how should the source file be ? any extension restriction ? or how should that file be encrypted, what i got from my partner is they have theris private key and signed with public key, we decrypt with out private key and the partners public key .

what decryption algo we use in PI defaulty because we are not using any ALGO here as encryption ? should the encrytion algo they use and her in PGP shd be same ?

• Please check the password of your private key.
• Please check the file manually and see how to content looks is it encrypted or not ?
• Try adding Parameter ignoreNonPGPMessage to true.

The source file should be encrypted not human readable .No file Extension restriction.

Partner will encrypt using your public key and sign using his private key , you will decrypt it using your private key and verify signing using partner's public key.
