MRP - Planned Order Creation.

I am seeking a method of design to cascade the individual process order requirements for the same raw material to be used on the same day into separate recommendations in MD15.

For example :

Finished Product A & B process orders:

Both Products contain raw material 123

Raw material 123 for both process orders are due on 12/20, with an order start date of 12/15.

How can I view MD15 separately for every requirement as a separate Planned Order for two process orders?

Try with availability check field '02" indivividual requirement for the ROH material material master.

Can someone share with me how this was solved.

I have the same issue I have 4 end items using the same component e.g. item 1, 2, 3, 4 uses component X.  All orders have the same start date as we start our production on Monday.  So all four dependent requirements land on Monday and I get one planned order clubbed together for the total amount of the 4 dependent requirements.

I have followed the suggestions here to no avail.  The only way I can see handling is via custom code or I can make my start dates Monday through Thursday which will create separate planned orders.

Hello,

If you firm the purchase requisition for the first created one manually

the second purchase requisition will be created on the same day itself(no clubbing)

ie Two PR for different reqmts of FERT for the same raw mat on a single day

Hi,

Pls check in the Material master in MRP 4 view you have given the Individual/ Collective indicator 2. If you have given that it will club the requirements.

As you suggested, we have already made these changes as MRP 4 view Individual?collective as "01".

Here my case is specific to Dep. Requirement gets generated as Individual requirement on daily basis,if only one Dep Requirement falls on that day,but on particular day if there more than one Dep. Requirement are there then it gets clubbed.....

Hi Pravin

Try this.

In lot sizing procedures. there is lot size called Daily lot size" TB".

You copy this lot size into Z lot size .

Change the field "no.of periods " to "1"

do not change any other fields.

Use this new lot size in the lot size key of ROH.

It should definitely work.

Hi,

Set individual requirment for thae raw material 123 in MRP 4 screen.You no need to change MRP type and all.This will generate two diffrent PR or Pln. ord . for material 123 even though their req falls on same date.

Your problem will be solved with lot size procedure EX only. There is no other alternative.

Hi Pravin,

Define "EX" is the lot size in material master in MRP view.
