Partner determination procedure tells the system where to search the partners for a business transaction.

Here are the steps involved in partner determination procedure :

1. Create the partner functions.

2. Define the access sequence for the partner functions.

3. Define partner determination procedure in which you specify the access sequence.

4. Assign the partner determination procedure to the transaction type or item category.
