uwl configuration error

Hi All

I am configuring the UWL ivew in EP7.0 backend ECC6.0

I created the system, alias and got a success result for the register. SSO is also configured. However when I test the iView i get the following error

Exception type:com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.connect.ConnectorException Message:Thu Dec 21 18:58:54 EST 2006

(Connector) :com.sap.portal.connectivity.ConnectivityRuntimeException:User is missing credentials for connecting to alias XXXXX. Contact your system administrator.

What credentials I need to specify and where do I have to do it

Your help is greatly appreciated.

thanks

Hi,

In the system which you have created, it seems that you have assigned the logon-method as User-Mapping . In this case you have to specify the user credentials for that particular system otherwise it will throw up the error which you are experiencing. You can specify the user credentials through the 'personalize' option or by going to User administration->User Mapping. Select the appropriate system and specify the user-id and password for that particular system. this will get rid of the error. Or instead if you desire SSO, you can just specify the logon method as SAP logon ticket

Hi all

It maybe a permissions lack.

1. Go to System Administration > System Configuration > System Landscape

2. Locate the system which you're trying to connect

3. Right click and select Open > Permissions

4. Search for "Everyone" user group and add it to the list

5. Give to "Everyone" read permission and chek the "End User" box.

6. Save the new permission settings.

This may work.
