How to select a batch maintained materail from ausp table?

Why dont u can use MCHA & MCHB table for batch maintained material.

I have to enhance the matchcode mat1 by adding characteristic values.So,I have to select the characteristic values from cabn/ausp according to the material irrespective of the material is batch maintained or not.(class type 001 and 023 and 025)
