Is there a FM to read material using MTART?

Is there any function module that reads material using MTART?

Check out this way ...

select matnr from mara into table itab where mtart = s_mtart.

MTART--Material Type i don't think to read any material MTART is sufficiant.

u have to also know material number(MATNR)
