​System alias HANA not assigned to user;

Dear all,

While activating the SmartBusiness Apps, my configured KPI`s apps does not load any data.

The Gateway Log shows me following the error message:

• -System Alias 'HANA' not assigned to user 'FIORI_USER' and service 'ZSMART_BUSINESS_RUNTIME_SRV_0001'

The service is rightly pointing to the DEV_ERP(default) in gateway.

We´ve tried create the alias “HANA” pointing to HANA XS, but Not sure where this HANA alias is from ?

Could anyone help me on this?

We got exactly the same issue, is there any progress on this? BTW, does anyone know how can I have this role in PFCG, /UI2/SAP_KPIFRW5_TC_R, what is the prerequiste note/software component for it?

I can not edit below configuration since it is remote catalog

Janos Dezsi we performed all installation recommendations, the other apps are running OK, I´m able even to configure and call for the hana elements to the KPI configuration.

Keith Nunn thank you, I´ve tried your tip (make sense) but the issue persists and now we even don´t have any error on the /Iwfnd/Error_log.

Hi, Miguel.

Please update remote catalog /UI2/SAP_KPIFRW5_TC_R in the Launchpad Designer. Change the alias from "HANA" to the ECC backend alias that's defined for the SMART_BUSINESS_RUNTIME_SRV OData service in transaction /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE.

Hi everyone,

I'm with the same problem.

We think the issue is related to HANA System Alias. We created this alias pointing to HTTPS RFC connection to HANA XS (had to do the trick for "Local GW" and "For Local App" in manage sap system aliases in order to HTTP RFC be allowed) but seems that some kind of mapping between the logged user in Fiori launchpad and the system alias HANA is missing. Where should we do this configuration? The HANA system alias is predefined when we create a KPI.
