qty conversion at GR

Hi Friends,

Does anyone have an idea of how to make qty conversion at the time of GR.

base unit kg-in MM01

alternative UOM-piece(1kg=5 piece)-In MM01,

but the time of GR the weight of one piece may be like +/- 200 gm.

its a process wherein the weight of the piece varies . so i would like to override the qty conversion said at MM01 at the time of GR

reason: this is a subcontract process wherein the processing charge was based on the weight of the material and not on the no. of the pieces so the weight of the piece should be given at the time of GR for the correct amounnt to be paid to subcontractor.

any ideas pls

You can change the component while GR by opening the Component tree in the GR, but you can change the amount you have entered in the PO for subcontracting changes.

Only thing you can do is post the subsequent settelement for this vendor of +/- amount after GR.
