    Hi Dan,

    first of all check if your item has schedule lines with confirmed quantities. If so try to put in VL01N the date you see in the confirmed schedule line.

    Another issue could be in the availability check of the delivery, have a look to the checking rule that may be different from the order: if the sales order confirms quantity based on production orders (for example) normally the delivery checks only against the stock.

    Hi Robert,

    According to your second Sol:

    I had checked for the Availability Overview screen (ATP) & saw that the qty is in -ve . Is this creating the problem. if not may i request you to please elaborate your 2nd part of the answer?

    • To understand the ATP go to:

      spro: sales->basic functions->availability..->availability check..->availability check with ATP..->carry out control...

      If you are working with normal MTS production and individual requirements the rule in the order is the 02/A while in the delivery is 02/B.

      Check out the differences then I'll be able to understand the problem.

    The reason could also be wrong selection date. Selection date should be either Material availability date or Transportation planning date (so check which date starts earlier)

    In VA03, at schedule line tab select the item details, click on the shipping button (bottom of the screen) and see the Material availability date and Transportation planning date, give in vl01n the earliest start date between these two. If both dates are on the same date, no issues. Give the same in vl01n.

    Also make sure the shipping point you have maintained was correct.
