OO ALV: How to make a column editable when using CL_SALV_TABLE?

Hello, everyone.

Within the new OO ALV context (i.e. CL_SALV_TABLE), how do you go about making a column on an ALV grid editable?

I am familiar with how to make an ALV column editable using a field catalog (LVC_T_FCAT) and class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID. However, I can not seem to find how to do the same thing using the new CL_SALV_TABLE class and its related classes.
