standard screen for PNP logical database

hello All,

I am using PNP logical database and i have modified the standard selection screen for PNP.

But now there is a button that appears , although the rest is supressed as i wanted it to.

Our forums active contrubutor suresh datti has provided me a solution before to go to sytem then status and then click screen 100 then invisible the push button and activate and re-execute the program. The method seems to work fine. But surprisingly after some time the button appears again..

any idea..??

can you explain in detail what you modified where?

And are you aware of report classes?

basicaly i changed the selection screen for PNP using HR report category. Then i set the button to invisible, acitavated the scree and all works fine.

now i changed something in program and then recompiled it.

The button appears again, so i run the procedure to set it invisible again, but its again visible after few runs..

ne idea??

also i do not knw what report classes are..

are you using any old variants? whenever you change the sel scr..especially with the Report Category, it is better to recreate the variants..

Don't worry..then its not the issue..

Did you make any further changes to the screen? the button cannot be activated by itself.. sone other change to the program must have caused that.. I would suggest you to simply repeat what you have done earlier..

i initially did the changes in screen.

then whatever change i have done, it is in the program and not somewhere else.

and even when i change the program, i also activate the screen again and repeat the proceudure u instructed..

any other suggestions?

If you go back to screen 0100, are the properties of the button still invisible, or do they reset back to visible?

they are set to visible..

is it possible on its own?
