I'm trying to install a new version of my addon after uninstalling a previous version. When I click on the install button (the installation was created by the B1DE simple installer) I get the message: "Error: cannot create a file when that file already exists".
The addon was created using the B1DE addon wizard & so I do include as extra files, a couple of xml files & the B1WIZARDBASE.DLL and 2 crystal report files.
I have gone into the addon folder & deleted my entire addon's folder (after the uninstall) but I'm still getting that message.
Does anyone have any ideas about what's causing this?
Thanks.
Hi,
Are you installing through WTS/Citrix etc?

Hi John,
The only thing I can think of is that SBO copies the installer to a temporary location before it executes it (this is why an installer can only be a single executable file). Try clearing your temp folder and reinstalling.
Hope this helps,
Owen
