0 CALDAY

I have the fields Valid to and Valid from in my datasource , now when i map that in infosouce to 0calday. i can not map both to 0calday can any body help what should i map to 0calday in infosource and ods. Valid to or Valid from . Also tell me if there is any way to map both and is it really required??

Need to create a Z_info_object of type ' date' and include this in infosource and ods.....

Also if u are using BCT, you shoul have all the necessary objects avilable in the BCT infosource and ODS!

you mean to say i copy that 0calday and make one more zinfoobject and map that to "valid to" i do not have any other BCT just 0calday. please help

You are right, create z_valid_to or Z_valid_from of type date...

It all depends on what data you want to load using this extractor. For Example: if you need data for only the records which are relevant for that day , then you would need to write a routine to extract the correct data based on the From and To.

E.g. If i need to get only the records for active employee for the end of the Month. Then I will use the Logic of The Last Day of Month > From Date and To Date <= Last Day of the Month, And in 0CALDAY i will feed the LAST dAY of the month.

I want to load the measurement amount for valid to and valid from data , since these field are coming from same datasource transactional. it will pick the measurement amount for the that date. why there is any need to write the routine.

please help me, if you have any routine then send me please the abap code and tell me where to write. i am having the datasource with transactional data with valid to and valid from and measurement amount key figure. now it go to ods and then to cube.

Your requirement is not clear, can you please elaborate more.

What data you want to have in 0CALDAY, based on that I can answer your question.

Hi Soniya

You have to load measurement amount which is valid from and valid till; if i understood correctly.

For the above you will have to create another zinfoobject at any case for mapping it to the valid till field in transfer rules.
