warehouse management issue

Dear gurus,

In the material master for a material

in the warehouse management2 VIEW

there is a palletization data

ie as...144 and when i c the technical data

it shows table as MLGN and field name as LHMG1

and when i go and c the data for that particular material in the table

it shows as 432 for the field LHMG1 in the table MLGN

Will there is any functionality to find this value ??

Can you throw some idea on this gursu ??

You must have define the unit of mesure in pellatization data is different then the base unit of measure and you unit of measure in the Pellatization data is

e.g. Your mbase unit is EA and issue unit is CS

The conversion is 1 CS = 3 EA

and when you define 144 CS in the field LHMG1..........when you go to database you are seeing value 432 becasue system converts in the base unit of measure

i am not clear how they would have maintianed

i will let u know an example

here for a material in Warehouse management 2 they have maintained

as 36 with Unit of measureemnt for loading equipment quantity 1 is ST

and storage unit as E1 for this material Base Uom is KG

but when i c the values in the table it shows as 216

how they could have done

if you got any ideas of this

where they would have mainitned the conversion factors ??

ie..for 36 how it can be 216 in the table

check the conversion of base unit of mesaure in MM03> Additional data> unit of measure

there must be unit of measure = 6 KG that's the reason you are getting 36*6 = 216
