Customer Exit Variable Single Value Ready for Input

Hello all,

although I have read several posts concerning this issue I am still somewhat clueless about the matter of customer exit variables which are ready for input.

I have defined a customer exit variable for a characteristic, representing a single value, variable entry being mandatory, and a check at "ready for input". What I am trying to do is create a variable which brings the typical selection screen pop-up, with the selection options being defined previously.

My coding looks like this (internal tables previously filled):

  when '1'. "before POP-UP

    case I_VNAM.

      when 'SB_PROR3'.

        IF s_role = 'BYZ10R_WEB_PRO'.

          LOOP AT l_t_team INTO l_s_team.

            clear L_S_RANGE.
            L_S_RANGE-OPT = 'EQ'.
            L_S_RANGE-SIGN = 'I'.
            L_S_RANGE-LOW = l_s_team-/B52/S_SB_O_PROR.
            append l_s_range to e_t_range.

          ENDLOOP.

        ELSEIF s_role = 'BYZ10R_WEB_ADM'.

          LOOP AT l_t_projects INTO l_s_projects.

            clear L_S_RANGE.
            L_S_RANGE-OPT = 'EQ'.
            L_S_RANGE-SIGN = 'I'.
            L_S_RANGE-LOW = l_s_projects-/B52/S_SB_O_PROR.
            append l_s_range to e_t_range.

          ENDLOOP.

        ENDIF.

This does not work -> I do not get the pop-up selection screen although this coding is passed through without error. A Brain 643 error is generated -> I have tried debugging further but simply don't understand what the problem seems to be...

Can someone please help?

Thanks
